Having originally come from a traditional chip shop background, as owners, we felt Peterhead needed a new and exciting takeaway option; that’s how the ‘Smokesman’ idea was born.

We do this where we can to provide only the best quality ingredients with value for money in mind.
– With everything we do we carefully consider its environmental impact
This in order to ensure ours is as low as possible. All of our packaging is commercially compostable and can be broken down in 12 weeks. This means that, unlike polystyrene trays and PET plastic carrier bags you will often receive takeaway in, a Smokesman meal will not leave behind any long term waste or harmful chemicals.

whats important to us
High Quality Produce
We pride ourselves on a high quality product
– but this cannot be achieved without the best ingredients.
All our ingredients are carefully selected to ensure a great meal.
Eco Conscious
As a takeaway we feel it would be irresponsible to give anything less than 100% to reducing our environmental impact
– We do not use any single use plastics in our products – we always use compostable packaging and paper bags. Even the disposable forks and milkshake cups are compostable!
Keeping It Local
where possible we always use local companies
– The nature of our menu means some ingredients have to come from further afield – but where possible we always use local companies.
Our fresh meats are all sourced from Aberdeenshire butchers, and we always chose independent companies to undertake work for us.
